As these items should be listed in the trade overview with a particular faction (via the diplomatic overview), but this is indeed quite an interesting question. I don't think your satrapies 'owned commodities' count as your trade commodoties, neither are these counted in your total trade revenue. That was the reason for me, it should be yours also. If you started playing before the patch and after the patch you are continue playing it is in tradable commodity but in the city it isn´t. I own regions that should be producing it, but they are not. Under the trade and finance tab I can see that spices are a tradable commodity, but using the strategic view map I don't see any regions that show they are producing it.
